Ernie's uncle, a reader of manuscripts of novels (before they are published), has just passed away. He learns this when one night, while reading horror novels, he is interrupted by a mysterious man who claims to be the uncle's lawyer. To claim the possessions of this uncle, Gabriel, he must spend the night in an antique Yorkshire country house with the rest of his relatives. Ernie and his friend Sid leave for Yorkshire. Slowly the guests begin to die one by one and everyone can be classified as suspicious. Ernie and Sid try to avoid their deaths while trying to figure out who is behind the murders.
