Wer Zweimal Lügt plot

The gritty bookseller Franz (Walter Buschhoff) takes on the identity of a retired judge and in that capacity ends up in the former East Germany where retired government officials fill shortfalls. He is assisted by the feisty Mrs. Mertens (Ursula Karusseit), the housekeeper of the chairman of the Frankfort city council, who once wanted to marry her employer if he had not let her down.
