Teddy is a New York swindler on the run from the police. He goes to Australia where he meets a hitchhiker who makes his head spin. When he wakes up the next morning, he finds himself married to her and meets his in-laws. His father-in-law appears to rule the town of Woop Woop and no one leaves without his permission. Teddy therefore needs an escape plan.
