Rusty Cammeron (Red Skelton), the owner of a photography shop, dreams of becoming a professional photographer. His aspirations lead him to become involved in a criminal gang of project developers, led by Grantland D. Farns (Leon Ames). Also, his aspirations in photography have had quite an impact on his love life, because his girlfriend Lucia Corlane (Arlene Dahl) can't like that Rusty spends so much time with winner Miss Lucky Vista (Ann Miller). This movie is a remake of Buster Keaton's "The Cameraman".
