Upstream plot
"A romance of the Roaring River of Life called Broadway."
Among the residents of a theatrical boarding house, the last member of a once great acting family has been out of luck for some time. One day an offer comes in to star in a London "Hamlet". He then takes lessons from a waning former star and achieves great success when he forgets his old friends.
