Und Du Mein Schatz Fährst Mit plot

The singer Maria Seydlitz has received an exciting message from America. Famed financial magnate William Liners offers her a one-year contract at his Broadway theater. Since she has just broken off her engagement, she accepts the offer. On the ship she meets Dr. Heinz Fritsch, who is very skeptical about her commitment. At a nearby table, Fred Liners, the big boss's cousin, offers her $10,000 if she doesn't accept the offer. He and his sister Gloria are concerned that their uncle intends to marry Maria over time, thus making them whistle about their inheritance. When Mary declines Fred's offer, he tells her that he will fight to the bitter end.
