Un Village Presque Parfait plot
Saint-Loin-la-Mauderne, a village hard hit by the crisis and desertification. The last hope among the inhabitants: to revive the smoked salmon factory. The only problem is that insurance requires the presence of a GP. However, the latter retired five years ago and a replacement was never found. Together with the gruff but charismatic mayor Germain, the residents try to convince a Parisian doctor to take up residence in the village.
