Un Italiano in America plot
Gas station owner Giuseppe has not seen his father, who emigrated to America to seek his happiness, for thirty years. Through a TV broadcast and a phone call, they unexpectedly reconnect. The father, who pretends to be a successful businessman and a happy person, is actually burdened with debt. He needs the money from the TV show to repay his creditors. But later his father gets into trouble again and has to go to jail for fraud. The son then picks up his old profession of gas station owner, now in America.
