U Pana Boga za Piecem plot
A Belarusian bus is held up in Poland by a gang of blackmailers from Ukraine. One of the passengers, Marusia, refuses to pay, whereupon she is robbed of her belongings and thrown off the bus into no man's land. Later, the same gangsters are chased by the local police of the town of Królowy Most. Marusia, who can no longer afford her return trip to Belarus, hopes to recover her belongings through a possible testimony against the gangsters. Until they are caught, however, she has to stay in the town for a few days, more specifically in the house of the organist of the local parish.
