"When longtime friends Joey Fortone and Lenny Kaminski get together, the race is on to get one up on the other. Their fantasies abound and their results lag far behind."

Lenny and Joey are two friends. Lenny is in a relationship with Rhonda whom he met at the planetarium. They are convinced that the course of their lives is determined by the stars. Joey goes to bed with a string of girls, all named Cindy. He doesn't realize that this is because of a failed relationship with a girl named Cindy.
