Turn to the Right plot
Farmer's son Joe Bascom wants to start a new life in the big city. He is charged with a crime and ends up in jail. There he befriends Gilly and Mugsy. After his release, he takes them with him to the farm. He discovers that Deacon Tillinger wants to take his mother's orchard. The three comrades come to her aid and Joe falls in love with Tillinger's daughter.
