Marion Dixon (Lyubov Orlova) is an American circus performer on tour in Russia along with her obnoxious German manager Von Kneschitz. During one of her performances on the trapeze, she falls in love with a simple Russian boy from the proletariat. Will the handsome circus performer join the communists, or will she stay with her capitalist bosses?
