Torna a Sorrento plot

Mario Bianchi is a traveling salesman who accidentally picks up a letter for another person with the same name at the post office. In this letter, a young girl writes to her boyfriend that, after numerous quarrels with her parents who oppose their relationship, she has decided to leave Sorrento and live with him in Rome. She points out the time and arrival of her train and asks him to meet her at the station. Mario doesn't know what to do and finally wants to explain what happened at the station. When he arrives there, he finds that the girl is distraught, she doesn't know anyone and she doesn't know where to go. He offers her his help, but their search is in vain.
