Top of the Form plot

Bookmaker Ronnie Fortescue unsuccessfully tries to sell his system for choosing racehorse winners. When he succeeds by chance, he is chased by the local bookies. Fortescue tries to escape and stumbles upon the Bagshot Boys College. Despite his lack of formal schooling, he accepts the role of professor from an unruly bunch of boys. When they cheat on an exam and win a trip to Paris, Fortescue must maintain control as they all head to France.
