Time, the Place and the Girl, The plot
"Vitaphone catches the roar of the football crowd."
During his college days, the self-centered Jim Crane paid little attention to his classmates, as he was successful with sports activities in addition to his studies. When Jim finds work at a finance company after college, he is hired along with his classmate Doris Ward. Doris only notices him then, when she is promoted in a short time. Not long after, Jim's employer wants to fire him because he cares more about Doris and the other women in his company than he does his job. But because Jim is successful with the women, he uses him to sell dubious bonds to gullible, female customers. When these illegal practices come to light, Jim's employer wants to fire him, but then it looks like the cheated women will turn against Jim's employer.
