Thorp plot
After leaving Earth in the 1980s, Thorp, an alien with a mustache and a mat, returns home. He is looking for his best friend Samantha. For this he travels to their well-known meeting places: the eatery, the bowling alley and the lake. Thorp even peeks in at his neighbors, but he can't find Samantha. He does notice that the world has changed enormously. People are more connected to their phones than to each other.
