There Goes the Groom plot

"A funshow full of what it takes to make you laugh!"

The impressionable Derek "Dick" Mathews sets sail on his yacht from Alaska, where he spent two years working in a valuable gold mine, to sail to San Francisco. Dick dreams of reuniting there with his girlfriend Janet Russell. However, unaware of Janet's family's desperate pursuit of fortune, he is devastated to learn that Janet is engaged to psychiatrist Dr. Joel Becker.
