"Doing all the wrong things in all the wrong places."

New Yorker Jake falls head over heels for beautiful schoolteacher Olivia Farragut. However, she is too busy looking for lenders to keep her school open. Jake and his friend Barney discover that Olivia will inherit a fortune if she marries a true gentleman. Jake then decides to pretend to be a man of good family.
