The Three Troubledoers plot
"The fair Nell vows to marry Sheriff "Coney Island" Curly if he rescues her father from the clutches of the villainous Badlands Blackie."
The Stooges are located in the Wild West. They are the enforcers of law and order in a small town where the life expectancy in that profession is not that high. When the local villain kidnaps the father of the girl he wants to marry, it's up to the threesome to rescue him. The girl even promises to marry Curly if they manage to free her father.
