The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives plot
Baba Segi, a wealthy and haughty patriarch, has spent years building up a household, marrying various women in the process: first wife Iya Segi, second wife Iya Tope, third wife Iya Femi, and the most recent and youngest, the university-educated but naive Bolanle. The new wife disrupts the precarious balance achieved by the first three wives; they are entangled in rivalry, secrets, and mutual survival strategies, with each attempting to consolidate her own status. When Bolanle fails to conceive, Baba Segi calls in doctors to find out what is wrong with her.
