The Repairman plot

Scanio Libertetti, a failed engineer who earns his living repairing coffee machines, takes a driving training course in a small provincial town in the hills of northern Italy. When asked about the circumstances that led to his ticket, he takes things a little too far. A long story about the past year begins: about the childhood friends who always criticize him, about the uncle who constantly reminds him that he needs to get his life in order and about the comforting presence of Helena, a young English girl who moved. to Italy as a consultant in personnel policy and who -for now- seems to be the only one who understands him.
