The Princess Switch: Switched Again plot
Duchess Margaret unexpectedly lands on the throne of Montenaro while going through a rough patch with her boyfriend Kevin. Her doppelganger, Princess Stacy of Belgravia, does everything she can to bring the two lovers back together. But the sudden appearance of a handsome member of the royal family who wants to steal Margaret's heart at any cost makes things even more difficult. The unexpected visit of Margaret's partying niece (a third look-alike who has her own ambitions) throws a spanner in the works. Add all this together and you have the recipe for triple Christmas trouble.

Less sparkling than the first part. The surprise is gone and the once again excellent Hudgens does not manage to save the whole thing. The secondary characters from the previous film now also have much less to do and feel a bit lost, while the film's plot around that niece is made unnecessarily complicated. The film looks good and the decoration is fine, but it's just not enough to give a passing grade. 2.5*.

The story starts well. You get to hear the story of what happened in the first film. Because they have done this, you don't necessarily have to watch the first part and you can immediately watch the second part. It's a nice Christmas movie and it really gives you a good Christmas feeling.
