The Phantom President plot

"It's nonsense and - I love it!"

It is unfortunate that the banker TK Blair has lost his presidential hopes. His party knows too little about him to conduct this campaign properly. But during a drug show, the party bosses find a doppelganger of Blair: the peddler Doc Varney. They're obviously trying to get Varney TK to be his spokesperson. He is even able to fool Blair's girlfriend. This naturally creates all kinds of romantic complications.
