After being abandoned at his own wedding, a young man vows never to have anything to do with women again. However, he soon discovers that a fortune has been left for him, on the condition that he gets married. Deciding that being rich and married is preferable to being broke and single, he sets out to find a wife, but things don't go quite as he planned.
