We follow Eddie, a struggling telemarketer stuck selling bobbleheads of presidents, but refusing to give up his ambition to become the next great horror filmmaker. With a second baby on the way, nothing in the bank, and no choice but to move in with his judgmental mother-in-law and her failed son, his life is a living nightmare. But he's not giving up yet.
