Nice.

But also a bit erratic. It's a bit of a shame that one of the most beautiful scenes comes at the very beginning of the film, which makes the rest look a bit less. But that's the danger with these kind of sketch-like films anyway.

The common thread is there, but it doesn't really add much. It remains mainly a collection of separate sketches that each try to bring some creativity in their own way. There are some that are very successful at that, there are also some that are just a bit bland and go on for too long.

But overall, it's entertaining nonetheless. It is also true that a bad skit is usually immediately followed by something nice. This makes it one of the nicer Monty Python films I've seen, but it's not entirely my thing, the humor is sometimes just a bit too good and easy for that.

Monty Python part 3. After a nice first film, and a second that was disappointing, the question was: will it get even better? And the answer is no...

This time subject man, his behavior and the idea of the origin and meaning of life. Something that already begins in a curious way with the revolt of the oldies in the accounting firm. Obviously an indictment against corporate cults that run for profit and where smart people dressed in ties try to outdo each other. Slavery, in particular, doesn't seem far off in this parody, and it turns out Gilliam went over a million over his budget. But funny...?

Part One, the delivery, promises to get better and is actually very humorous. Not only are the doctors very focused on their equipment and budget, I also subtly taste a hint that despite all the knowledge people are still dependent on nature itself and whether things are going well of course. For a moment I think I like this. But unfortunately the film and my interest collapses after that with the Catholic family, the sex education and the middle of the film. It's not for me humor, even if the fat man, Grim Reaper visiting and the officer with the missing leg is still nice.

No, Monty Python is definitely not for me and does almost nothing for me. Of the three films, I thought The Holy Grail was still the best. It cannot be called bad and I understand the ridicule and absurdism that people try to evoke, yet it is rarely humorous for me.
