The Man Upstairs plot

On the run from the police, jewel thief Mooney (Ryan O'Neil) goes into hiding at the home of old lady Victoria (Katharine Hepburn). When he finds him in the attic, she does not hand him over to the police, but befriends the fugitive. He reminds her of her great love, who was killed in the Second World War. Mooney, in turn, finds some of the affection he lost as a child.
