The Making of Daniel Boone plot

The successful writer and recognized history professor Allan Kenton is making his dream come true: his most recent book about the life of Daniel Boone is going to be made into a film. Not having much faith in Hollywood, Allen decides not to relinquish the rights to his book until he is sure that the film lives up to his book. Producer Timothy Flint convinces Allen that his project is in safe hands with him. However, nothing is further from the truth and the project is getting worse and worse for Allan.
