The Love Trap plot
Evelyn Todd is fired from her job as a dancer, kicked out of her apartment and attacked by a womanizer. And it all happens on the same day. Desperate Evelyn is rescued by the handsome Peter Harrington, who also turns out to be a wealthy businessman. A marriage between the two ensues, but the fledgling happiness is threatened by Peter's uncle. He recognizes Evelyn from a wild party. Unable to prove her innocence, Evelyn sets a trap for the uncle in the hopes that she can show him that he is wrong and thus regain Peter's trust.
