The Love Swindle plot

Diana Rosson, a wealthy and beautiful woman, drives to her mansion to escape the unwanted attention of her many suitors, most notably her guardian's favorite Trotwell. Diana arrives in the middle of a raging storm and rushes into the house, only to be attacked by robbers. Dick Webster passes by the house and hears her crying, then rescues her. Diana quickly falls in love with Dick, but his hatred of the rich prevents him from returning her affections. Anxious to win him over, Diana tells Dick that she has a twin sister who insists on supporting herself.
