I didn't think it was a good movie. I didn't really expect it either. The part that Paolo and Lizzie are going to sing and Paolo is going to show his real singing skills I found very funny by the way. 2*

I think I once watched this movie at a children's party in the cinema with friends. Nice then, but not anymore. I don't like Hilary's acting.

Gosh, how did I get to like this as a teenage girl, I just thought to myself. That annoying lip-synching, the sticky songs, the annoying little brother, the mean 'who suddenly isn't so mean anymore' classmate, those animations... And to think I used to have a crush on David 'Gordo' Gordon. awkward.

Strangely enough, I barely made it through this time. Huge need to fast forward. In the end I started folding out of minor misery (Well) and that did help. Although the annoying voice of Lizzie and the annoying slicker Paolo. Hilary was clearly still very young here. As she got older, I started to appreciate her more. It's probably very nice for the target group, after all I was fond of it 10 years ago, but it would have been better to leave it at that one viewing.
