Homer Baston, aka 'The Kid from Kokomo', is a good small-town boxer. Horner is convinced that the drunken Margaret "Maggie" Manell is his mother. He invites Maggie to move in with him. Maggie also appears to suffer from kleptomania and it is not long before Homer gets into trouble because of her.
