I saw this for the first time tonight. My expectations were not high, since this is a 37-year-old film. I did have to laugh at some parts. Not for everything, but especially the bland humor is worth repeating. I don't think I'll be watching it again, but I have to say, the 79 minutes kept me entertained.

Nice 70s atmosphere in a movie where the level fluctuates quite a bit on a comic level. 'Kentucky Fried Movie' has a number of skits that made me laugh a lot, no matter how bland sometimes - that cinema, 'Fistful of Yen' and a number of (separate) funny scenes. Unfortunately, the film sometimes goes a bit too far.

With the exception of the title and director John Landis, I had largely forgotten about this film until I recently came across it in a MovieMeter Contest. Reason to refresh my memory.
A collection of mostly absurd spoofs, some hilarious, others extremely bland. Although I fear that I will soon forget most of it, the film did entertain me at a number of moments.
