The Impatient Years plot
"They found the answer to WAR-TIME MARRIAGES in the middle of a KISS!"
Janice and Andy Anderson have an appointment with the divorce judge. They want to break up their marriage and report on their relationship. They were madly in love for several days and soon married, after which Andy went to war overseas. Once he got back, despite their child, the two turned out to be complete strangers to each other. William Smith, Janice's father, appeals to the judge not to finalize the divorce and to oblige them for a few days to treat each other in the same way as before. He knows for sure that they will find each other again.
