The Fishing Party plot

Art, Ern and Abe are three miners from Leeds who have planned a weekend to go fishing. They go by bus to the seaside town of Whitby, but unfortunately their weekend doesn't go as planned. They spend the night with Audrey, a snobbish landlady who hates their presence at the guest house. Her husband Brian would like to go fishing with the men, but Audrey doesn't let her. The men find a boat and insist that the fisherman who owns the boat takes them to the cod fishing grounds. However, two large crates of brown beer are also loaded on board the boat. The waves are far too rough for the men and all three of them get seasick. Then they return to retirement with all their cod as everything fluctuates.
