The Farmer Takes a Wife plot

This film is set around 1850. Molly Larkins is a cook on Jotham Klore's canal boat that sails the Erie Canal in New York. She has quite a love-hate relationship with her boss. When Molly hires the handsome horse driver Dan Harrow, a complicated love triangle develops. The fact that Dan's future dream is to have his own farm and Molly's dream to have his own boat doesn't make things any easier.
