The Extraordinary Life of Rocky plot

Rocky De Vlaeminck grows up surrounded by death and destruction. Everyone in his neighborhood dies horribly and he is always the center of attention. In the long run, Rocky is convinced: if he likes someone, he dies, he works like a deadly virus. The only bright spot is the enchanting Angie, the love of his life, but Rocky can't and shouldn't like her, because we know what happens then. Or not?

Quite a funny satirical look at Rocky, a boy who seems born for misfortune when everyone he loves dies. A bit of a Wes Anderson or van Warmerdam approach, daring, but creative and witty. Nice with that dog, thought it was definitely funny and successful.
