The Chaperone plot
"Her dad did time... Now he wants quality time."
Ray Bradstone is the best driver in the criminal world, but he is determined to be the best father to his daughter Sally. He also wants to make amends with his ex-wife Lynne. Ray struggles to find an honest job. But then his old bank robber friends, led by Philip Larue, offer him one last job. He agrees at first but changes his mind at the last minute, leaving them without a driver. Ray decides to join Sally's school field trip instead as a chaperone. When the robbery fails, Larue blames Ray and chases the school bus to the Natural History Museum in New Orleans. Ray now has to deal with Larue while supervising Sally's class. This results in one of the craziest school trips ever.
