The Breaks plot

Irish teenager Derrick King is raised by a black family and lives in South Central Los Angeles. Unfortunately, Derrick has had a lot of bad luck lately and is fired and arrested by the police, among other things, because he was drunk behind the wheel. Fortunately, he meets a nearly blind boy and decides to help him.
