The Blooming Angel plot
The university suspends Floss Brannon for misconduct. She marries Chester Framm, a poor student aspiring to be an orator. As the couple struggles to make ends meet, Floss launches a skin cream. Chester will use his oratory skills to advertise the cream from the back of an elephant. When the animal succumbs, Floss is accused of animal cruelty by a rival. Her name is cleared when the elephant walks past the courthouse during the trial.
