The Bit Part plot

Career advisor Michael Thornton decides to switch careers and become an actor. He dreams of playing in Shakespeare plays, but ends up in a television commercial in which only his hands are visible. He befriends actress Mary McAllister, but she leaves for Hollywood to star in a horror movie.
