The Arizona Romeo plot
The more violent her father John Wayne's opposition becomes, the more determined Sylvia becomes to marry Richard Barr, even though she doesn't really love him. She slips away with her maid and arranges for John to meet her in Arizona. Tom Long is displeased when he discovers that his cowboys are all getting manicures, and that Sylvia and her maid, posing as manicurists at a local shop, are responsible. In his attempt to save Sylvia from the attentions of a tough guy, Tom falls for her.
