That Girl from Paris plot
Nikki Martin, a Parisian opera star, sets out in search of adventure and true love when she leaves her husband-to-be at the altar. During an elevator ride, she meets handsome American musician Windy McLean and his group the 'McLean Wildcats'. Windy is immediately annoyed by her, but Nikki falls in love with him and follows him to New York by secretly sailing his ship.
