Taxi, Mister plot
"She's in there pitching and the Flabush Tornado loves it!"
Brooklyn, New York in 1928. Taxi owners Tim McGuerin and Eddie Corbett have a hard life with their rickety cab, which they share and take turns driving. They have plans to expand and even have a second taxi in their garage, but the engine is still missing. Tim has to take the rich and drunk Reginald Van Nostrum, who has hired his taxi for the day, to a burlesque theater. Tim immediately falls for the dancer Sadie O'Brien, who has also attracted the attention of the mobster Louis Glorio.
