Take Me Home plot

Chorus girl Peggy Lane lands a small part in a new show for David North, a country boy with a stage car. During rehearsal, David Delerys meets Devore, the star of the show, and soon she offers him a bigger role in her act. Completely pleased with David, Delerys invites him to her home on the condition that Peggy will be there. When Peggy doesn't show up, David leaves, leaving his hostess furious. In retaliation, Derelys has Peggy fired the next day.
