Tahiti Honey plot
At the time of the fall of France by the Nazis, Mickey Monroe and his band 'The Eleven Brooklyn Bombshells' are stranded in Tahiti. French-American nightclub singer Suzette "Suzie" Durand has a strong desire to go to the United States. Things go from bad to worse for the band members and they are now faced with the choice of hiring Suzie as a singer, which they all see as 'bad luck', or they will starve to death. The band members insist that as soon as they have made money Suzie is fired as soon as possible so that they can then leave by boat home. But then Mickey falls in love with Suzie…
