Symphonie in Gold plot

The director of the ice revue has a problem. His star duo has terminated their contract and needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Young skater Eva Bell has a chance of promotion, but finding a suitable partner proves difficult. The one she has in mind turns her down, and the chance second choice, amateur skater Walter Gerlos, is barred from taking the paid job due to sports regulations. Then journalist Magnus Mispel comes up with a bright idea, and the mysterious "Mister X" is born.
