Supercon plot
"They have been cosplayed for the last time."
It's the weekend again, and a comic convention is just around the corner for former TV actor Keith Mahar. Keith reluctantly joins his close friends, cartoon actor Matt, comic book artist Allison and 80s TV star Brock, who also work at the convention. But when Keith's former co-star Adam King decides to have the group fired and banned from the convention with the help of the congress promoter, they're not happy. The friends therefore decide to take down King and the promoter in the most epic way imaginable.

I don't even get the story. As expected, terrible. A gathering of idiots who let you spout nonsense, and you have a movie. Total budget $500 for drinks and cookies. 0.5 points (0 wasn't possible)

A mediocre comedy with good performances from an enthusiastic and motivated cast, but heavily reliant on incredibly corny humor. This makes Supercon a film that's often difficult to get through, especially because you often get the feeling you've seen this kind of story before. Director Zak Knutson also makes no secret of the fact that the production seems to be suffering from a significant lack of funding, as the whole thing feels rather bare and unfinished. Thankfully, some scenes are a bit grander, and the editing is reasonably enthusiastic, but they can't make up for the uninspired and downright infantile content.
