Stop, You're Killing Me plot
"Meet 'em all! Love 'em all!"
After the American Prohibition ended in 1933, the beer baron Remy Marko continued the production of his 'Gold Velvet' beer. However, this beer does not catch on well and Remy's business is bad. Another worry for Remy is that his daughter Mary plans to marry police officer Chance Whitelaw, who comes from a wealthy family. Wanting to make a good impression on his in-laws, Remy and his wife Nora rent a luxurious mansion in Saratoga. Unbeknownst to the Markos, four mobsters were killed in this mansion by the criminal nicknamed Innocence.
