After forty years of marriage, Lina (Inge Meysel) is tired of always having to be of service to her husband Max (Carl-Heinz Schroth), without any token of appreciation. She leaves him, but she gives him a chance to make amends. The oldies embark on a journey through all the places that have a special meaning in their history together.
